Board Member Spotlight: Rosalynn Hughey
We're honored to introduce Rosalynn Hughey, a WeHOPE board member who has spent more than 35 years shaping the future of Silicon Valley through urban planning and civic leadership.
As deputy city manager for San José, Rosalynn oversees housing, planning, and economic development—the very systems that intersect with our mission every day. She doesn't just create policy. She helps build the framework that determines how communities grow.
Before joining San José in 2014, Rosalynn led transformative neighborhood and transit-oriented development plans in Washington, D.C. She's brought that strategic vision to WeHOPE, helping us navigate complex challenges with clarity and purpose.
Rosalynn's leadership matters. Her decades of experience and deep commitment to equitable housing strengthen everything we do. We're grateful to have her guiding our work as we help people become healthy, employed, and housed.
