David Pak and Vivian Yao, with their adorable dog Luna, arrived at Coast House on February 22, 2023, after months of living in their RV, facing unimaginable hardships—being robbed of their belongings and, ultimately, losing the RV that had been their home. It was the first time in their lives they had ever experienced homelessness, and it was a devastating blow.

When Crystal Ruiz arrived at WeHOPE in December 2023, she was at a crossroads. After 5 1/2 years of homelessness due to a personal crisis, she was ready for change but unsure of the path forward. Little did she know that her journey with WeHOPE would not only provide her with shelter but also reignite her sense of purpose through meaningful work.
