WeHOPE's Family Harvest Program Celebrates Milestone
For over 15 years, WeHOPE has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley to address food insecurity in San Mateo County. What began as Kids N.O.W (Nutrition on the Weekend), providing healthy snacks to school-aged children on Thursdays, has evolved into the comprehensive Family Harvest program that operates every Tuesday, offering essential nutritious items including dairy, protein and produce.
WeHOPE Announces Annual Seeds of Hope Fundraiser: Cultivating the Seed
EAST PALO ALTO, Calif. - We Help Other People Excel (WeHOPE) is pleased to announce its annual fundraising event, Seeds of Hope - Cultivating the Seed, presented by Stanford Health Care. This inspiring gathering will take place on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City. It will spotlight the organization's substantial growth and expanded impact over the past year.
Stories of Hope: Courage, Loss, and Recovery
Carlos first came to WeHOPE marred with trauma and grief, and caught in the throes of the immigration system. His apartment building had caught fire, leaving him in a coma and without any personal belongings. The fire forced Carlos to miss his immigration hearing, upending his application for permanent residency and igniting his hard-fought journey to citizenship and employment.

100,000 Loads of Dignity - A WeHOPE Milestone

On Monday, July 14, 2025, we celebrated a remarkable milestone at WeHOPE: our Dignity on Wheels program has officially completed 100,000 laundry loads for our unhoused neighbors. Since launching in 2015, this initiative has grown from a simple idea into a transformative service bringing essential hygiene directly to those who need it most.
