Stories of Hope: Loland’s Path to Housing Success

Loland Flores came to WeHOPE on March 7, 2026, as an emergency shelter client and transitioned into the program on
March 10, 2026. Although she had a housing voucher, she was unsure how to navigate the process and faced additional challenges as a survivor of domestic violence and someone recovering from addiction.

With guidance from her case manager and support from WeHOPE staff, Loland gained clarity on the housing process and learned that her housing inspection was scheduled for March 22. WeHOPE also provided transportation assistance to help her attend the inspection.

Thanks to her determination and the support she received, the inspection was successful, and Loland secured housing. Today, she is safely housed and moving forward with greater stability, confidence, and hope for the future. 💙🏠
