Event Recap: Seeds of Hope

We are thrilled to announce that our Seeds of Hope event was a beautiful success, raising $190,000. This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the generous support of the WeHOPE community, event guests and our generous sponsors.

The afternoon was expertly emceed by Vinney Arora of The Arora Collective, whose energy and passion set the perfect tone for the event. We were honored to highlight the inspiring stories of our former clients, Alex Sandoval and Crystal Ruiz, whose journeys touched the hearts of all in attendance.

A compelling update from County Executive Mike Callagy underscored the vital work being done by San Mateo County. His words reinforced the importance of WeHOPE’s mission, the impact we're making in our community, and the impact of the collective efforts from around the Bay Area.

Seeds of HOPE was presented by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, whose commitment to our cause set the tone for an afternoon of hope and generosity. We also would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to our other event sponsors:

  • Destination Home

  • Stanford Health Care

  • Avid Bank

  • Kaiser Permanente

  • Berliner Cohen

  • Pillsbury

  • Cisco

  • Stanford University

The overwhelming support from these organizations, individuals, and our community demonstrates their concentrated commitment to addressing homelessness in our area. We are filled with immense gratitude for everyone who contributed to the success of Seeds of Hope. Your generosity will enable WeHOPE to continue its vital work, bringing hope and tangible support to those in need throughout our community. Our hearts are full.
