WeHOPE to Host Private Screening of "No Address" - A Powerful Film Addressing Homelessness

Feb. 6, 2025 (EAST PALO ALTO, Calif.) - WeHOPE has announced a private screening of "No Address" at Cinemark Century Mountain View 16 on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 6:30 PM. This compelling feature film explores the unexpected circumstances that can lead to homelessness and the resilience of those who experience it.

The screening comes at a crucial time as WeHOPE works toward achieving "functional zero" in East Palo Alto — a milestone where homelessness is rare, brief, and non-recurring in our community. This means having systems in place to prevent homelessness when possible and ensure it's a temporary rather than chronic condition when it does occur.

"This film powerfully illustrates that homelessness can affect anyone," says Whitney Prather, Marketing and Communications Director. "We're grateful to have a spotlight on this critical issue, and through this film, we hope to build understanding and start a conversation."

Following the screening, WeHOPE's leadership team will lead a brief discussion about practical ways community members can contribute to ending homelessness.

The event begins at 6:30 PM with a red carpet reception, followed by the screening at 7:00 PM. While admission is free, registration is required due to limited seating. Register at wehope.org/no-address-movie-premier.
